چکیده

Grapevine Trunk Diseases (GTDs) are a major challenge to the grape industry worldwide. GTDs responsible for considerable loss of quality, production, and vineyard longevity. Seventy-five percent Chilean vineyards estimated be affected by GTDs. complex diseases caused several fungi species, including members Botryosphaeriaceae family Phaeomoniella chlamydospora , considered some most important causal agents these in Chile. In this study, we isolated 169 endophytic 209 rhizospheric from grapevines grown under organic conventional farming Multiple isolates Chaetomium sp., Cladosporium Clonostachys rosea, Epicoccum nigrum, Purpureocillium lilacinum Trichoderma sp. were evaluated their potential biocontrol activity against Diplodia seriata Neofusicoccum parvum Pa. chlamydospora. Tests antagonism carried out using two dual-culture-plate methods with multiple media types, agar containing grapevine wood extract simulate planta nutrient conditions. Significant pathogen growth inhibition was observed all tested. rosea showed 98.2% pathogens presence extract. We 100% when autoclaved lignified shoots pre-inoculated either C. strains or Overall, results show that promising

Endophytic fungi harbored in the root of Sophora tonkinensis Gapnep: Diversity and biocontrol potential against phytopathogens

This work, for the first time, investigated the diversity of endophytic fungi harbored in the xylem and phloem of the root of Sophora tonkinensis Gapnep from three geographic localities with emphasis on the influence of the tissue type and geographic locality on endophytic fungal communities and their potential as biocontrol agents against phytopathogens of Panax notoginseng. A total of 655 fun...

biocontrol potential of root endophytic fungi and trichoderma species against fusarium wilt of lentil under in vitro and greenhouse conditions

lentil wilt, caused by fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lentis is one of the main limiting factors to successful lentil cultivation. effect of four antagonistic fungi, namely: piriformospora indica, sebacina vermifera, trichoderma viride and trichoderma harzianum as well as combinations among them were evaluated against fusarium wilt of lentil. in in vitro experiments, the effect of the antagonistic f...

Biocontrol potential of Trichoderma Sp. against plant pathogens

Forty two strains of Trichoderma sp. were isolated from cultivated lands around Bangalore and analyzed for their antagonistic potential against Sclerotium rolfsii and Fusarium ciceri. The potential of biocontrol agents ultimately lies in their capacity to control pathogens in vivo. Bioefficacy studies were hence conducted using chickpea (Cicer argentums c.v. Annigeri) as an experimental plant b...

Distribution and Identification of Endophytic Streptomyces Species from Schima wallichii as Potential Biocontrol Agents against Fungal Plant Pathogens.

The prospective of endophytic microorganisms allied with medicinal plants is disproportionally large compared to those in other biomes. The use of antagonistic microorganisms to control devastating fungal pathogens is an attractive and eco-friendly substitute for chemical pesticides. Many species of actinomycetes, especially the genus Streptomyces, are well known as biocontrol agents. We invest...
